As a new player I 100% agree. I played only for 1 hour because the game looks outdated compared to others. I tried again because i heard of the Black Rock Shooter collab and very much enjoying the game as i progress later on.

Spoiler, in the Chinese version, the newest model is insanely well done, reaching wuwa quality
The good thing is that they significantly improve their art on every update
But that makes the old models "ugliness" pop up even more

as for changing the shaders to make it look more vibrant, they already have been imrpoving it (since the new construct reveal trailer)
