I'm unsure of the cause, but after playing for at least a hour, I can no longer use the escape button for any form of interaction with the game, menus don't close, the game doesn't pause during combat, and I can't exit the game via the escape button.

It happened to me too, normally I could press ESC even during the gameplay to quit from the game but after the patch it's not working.

Same here, have to close the game through other means, and click "back" with the mouse xD

It doesnt work for me on menus at all, but thankfully i can still pause the game
