They are 2 different things, but i wanted to make a single post for same topic.
About skin for pets -> it would work as normal chracters skin:
°different varations who can be bought with RC and some new currenncy "coating prints for pets"
° maybe some sfx ones, that ones can be more detailed and share same sfx effects as characters (ex: bianca ink hermit skin with his pet with ink hermit skin)
°also time to time gacha skins with rc or free skins through certain events or log in bonus etc.
Pros: 1. Adding diversity to the game, can add more personality on account
Cons:
- The cost efficency will not be so good, (especially pets have 2 forms) they can use this time for other things
- They are few players who are willing to invest in pets
About skin for dorms ->i would like to have this feature as a person who spent time in dorm cause is relaxing me
°the design can be from normal characters
°using dorm coins to buy this
Pros:
- Adding diversity, for a feature who was in game from beggining and is not used as full pottential.
- The chibbies characters are already used in other events like eden festival or puzzle events etc. Even if they have "poppularity", this can have a chance to increase that for the players who are not spending so much time in dorm
- This can be used also in merchandising, and for someone who can afford a chiibi version cause is cheaper than a statue, i would also like to have more version of characters
Cons:
- That again needs time and idk if is worthing
- They theoretically can't make money from this, only if they add also a section with some special dorm skins who can be bought with rc. Or something like a pack or standard pack who contain this skins(ex: cerberus pack dorm skins- and you can have all 3 with this coatings)
