#Dear KuroGames, can you please consider adding a Sprint Mechanic into the Game?

Even Dark Souls and Elden Ring have it. And that is saying something.
Even Metal Gear: Rising, DMC, For Honor have it.

Having a sprint mechanic in the game across the board would help the players greatly during prolonged battle particularly with Bosses or just a butt ton of Elite enemies on the map.

When you're out of your Dodge Guage, you would wish you had a Sprint Mechanic to help reduce the chances of you getting hit due to moving not fast enough to avoid at least 50% of the attacks from the enemies while you wait for the Dodge Guage to regenerate.

Plz add Sprintz to teh Gaem, we n33d it other th4n D0dge. Thx.

i'm curious to see what ideas people would have for the form the sprint ability would take

#

its mechanics, like how dodge has a limited meter, and also can provide matrix, etc

#

of course, it would change the gameplay in both small and larger ways

#

might be tricky finding a balance where it aids gameplay but doesn't significantly skew the meta / overall gameplay feel

#

I'd say it would be a useful feature to have in Warzone and Norman, because both modes use timers as a difficulty mechanic, and sometimes the enemies are pretty far away from you when they spawn or because they hop around like Gabriel or Rosetta and play hard to get by increasing the distance between you. This costs several vital seconds of time when they do it, and they can do it multiple times; it adds up and has caused me to fail when I was about to defeat the boss multiple times in a row.

#

I'm not sure I'd put the sprint button across the board; as I said in a different thread, it could be limited to certain game modes just like how the counter button for Lamia is limited to story mode

#

It's definitely worth exploring if we could have it as a universal, across the board mechanic though

#

someone might have a cool idea / method for implementing it

Well, for starters, if you're far enough from Ranged Enemies, you can use Sprint to avoid their attacks,
If you're near them, then that's where you use your Dodge combined with Sprint.

If you're trying to close in on the Boss or Enemies, you can use Sprint instead of wasting your Dodge to get close.

maybe sprint wouldn't be capable of evading attacks, and that's the drawback

#

so that way both it and dodge have their own uses

not if make you make a 180 degree turn at the right timing. With dodge combined of course.

#

lol that'd be cool

#

if a really skilled player could use sprint with such fine precision that it's basically a dodge

pastel ruin
#

you can see that happening in games like Sekiro

young fiber
#

I see

#

that's still on my plan to play list

#

you could include a timestamped link of examples of such sprint movements in seikiro, either the general idea of sprinting or the really cool fine movement thing

#

though that doesn't seem necessary, at least for trying to illustrate that

#

i'm simply pointing out that you could do it if it suits your purposes

"Sekiro X Boss fight 0 damage/death run" as the search query would yield the results they want.

#

hm. alright

I think they'll search it up after looking at our conversation here.

yeah. that works too lol

We "technically" have it implemented with Nier characters in Collab, they are able to move at higher speeds even after dodge is used up
