When I press the ESC key on keyboard/the option button on the controller to close the game/ALT+F4 the screen of the game becomes black and only music plays and stays in a "Not Responding" state in Task Manager and I need to force stop the process to fully close the game.

I tried closing my game and my computer completely froze and it's actually preventing me from turning off my PC. I have to force shut down to get out of this loop.
