Located in the Challenge War in the Battle menu, Scarlet Tower allows players to fight through floors of increasingly difficult waves of enemies. "HP", similar in function to AP, used in Phantom Pain Cage, is required to enter the Tower.

Scarlet Tower itself is a simple but effective concept to motivate play time: 20 levels of enemies that sharply but fairly increase in difficulty as each level is cleared. These levels provide generous rewards for being cleared. These rewards include but are not limited to:

X50 Black Cards
X10,000 Cogs,
X5 A/S Rank Inver-shards
Memories/Weapon Shards
In Higher Levels, exclusive memories and/or weapons can be earned.

Each level can only be cleared once.

The rewards for each level are be rotated in increments of five.
I.E Levels 1-5 grant Cogs
Levels 5-10 grant A-rank Shards and 5-Star Memories.
Levels 10-15 grant Black Cards and 6-Star Memory Shards.
Levels 15-20 Grant Black Cards, S-Rank Shards and Exclusive Memory Drops.

The enemies of each level would go from:
1-5 Normal [Repairers, Ground Monitors, Protectors and Pilgrims, etc]
5-10 Elite [Ronins, Bio-Salamanders, Envoys, Firefighters, Deconstructers, etc]
10-15 Bosses [Roseblade, Nozzle, Assault Fort, Vassago, etc]
15-20 Elite Bosses [Unidentified Twins, Unknown Data Cluster, Ascendants, etc]
