Light doesn't fade so make the shadows with destinct shapes. And use values rather than darker color shades.

If you pay attention to your shadow on the road it doesn't fade.there's a clear contrast between the bright concrete and the dark shadow like ink on paper .

Also make sure to locate the areas accessible by the light or not. The hair has this problem. Some things that are face to face with the light are dark
