#how do i make this look better?

Increase the saturation all around?
ngl coloring is also kinda a foreign process to me too but what im currently doing is that I decide an overall one or two colors and then color the entire in canvas in only those colors
I did not explain that too well
But for this piece the overall color is purple, right. Purple and then maybe beige because of the skin. Thus, I'd color the entire canvas in purple, beige, or a combination of both
And then I'd fill in all the other colors in reference to those initial colors.
Overall it could use more contrast and saturation. maybe fill in shadow under the neck, under the nose, on the skin under the hair, on the ears, around the eyes, maybe under the lip if u want. choose a more obvious light source, maybe from a location that will make dramatic shadows. i think lack of shadows also contributes to it feeling a bit bland
yess! Contrast is so important to make things pop,
Be it through shadows, or just colors in the design
ahh okaay! I’ll do that later when i get back home lol, i felt like it missing a lot of things and couldn’t put my finger on it
