hello ^^ i am not done yet but id like to know if the shading is too vague since that is something ive caught myself doing numerous times !!

See, you can rock a really vague shading if you do it intentionally. So basically a low contrast artwork.

Some of the basic things they do would be a very bright highlight w/ low contrast

And a light shadow w/ low contrast.

So if youre going for that style, i would make the hair close to pure white and remove the outlines + make the outlines on the face only a LITTLE bit darker (if face shadow is 30% make the outlines 40%)
