How do i make it look like she is actually in the environment rather than just placed there? It feels like she is too bright for some reason, maybe the foreground grass is too bright? Im not sure, i need some tips with the coloring and rendering because i used the smudge tool a lot and it unfortunately shows. Thank you!

Its more that her colors are a little too different from her surroundings. Especially since she is in a forest, she would be having more of a soft green tone overall. Heres two color edits i did to kinda show what i mean by this

Contrasting colors still can work. You just need to have colors to fill in the gaps if tha makes sense

So like with this you look at the shirt and think blue or purple. But if you use an eye dropper is actually a red brown. But because of the colors around it, we thought a totally different color

You think its a contrast but its really not all that off from the primary color used
