I've been doing portraits for over a year now and I used to struggle with proportions a lot, but even aft lot of practice my portraits don't resemble the subjects. Like , it looks proportionly correct but it doesn't look like the person. And I have seen drawings with really noticeable off proportions, but they still are recognisable, like u can tell who that is if yk tha person. What exactly am I missing here.
