#How to do animation (?)

I haven't really attempted it much but it's a bit of a nervous subject (I have anxiety overall but this is something I really want to do just don't know how)
I don't know much about the subject, but I have a friend who is studying animation at university. I could ask her for some tips on how to get started ^^
It's very likely that they'll make you learn 3D sculpting, so I can ask her about that too if you're curious
im lwk in the same boat I wanna learn animation for fun and if u dm me i can send u a guide with lots of resources
The first thing i suggest you do is review the principles and fundamentals of animation. And for a long while, just do simple animations. Like balls bouncing or flour sack animations. Theyre less interesting but its better to get a feel for things simply, than to try and get a feel for it complexly. Otherwise you wont really get a sense for it. In animation classes they make you do simple animations first. My professor had me do a simple 2d ball bounce, a ball bounce in a 3d space with a tail, then flour sacks interacting with 3d spaces. Theyre not as interesting as full character animation, but you cant run when you can barely crawl
Thank you! I'll take these suggestions in mind 🙂
