try drawing the hair loose and add variation into the lines
where lines cross or shadow hits, you can add more thickness to make it more interesting

Just practise 😄 over years
I mostly don't do linear for hair. Just rough sketch and define the Details in the process

important part of drawing hair atleast for me is to always draw the scalp below it first and then draw the hair on top of it
