First hour :3 background + basic shapes

I want to add some dramatic lightness in the background

And also have experimented with working on a textured canvas >:D

I think it adds a layer of symbolism and more personality into the painting to highlight underlying emotions and feeling :3

Next few hours getting the eyes done focusing with one side of the face to be one type of personality aspect and the other another one :3
as well as a different set of colours. Orange-yellow for one side and red-green on the other inspired by the ENA characters from dream bbq and ENA from extinction party to reinforce the ideas of complex personalities and hidden struggles.

A subtle but effective difference. Inspired by one of the Christian depictions of Jesus Christ :3 (the two sides of the face idea)

Now getting onto forming the lips. At this stage the face needs to be more refined and narrowed to fit my lovely reference human :3 and the eye need more refining, the nose, straightening on the left side and to move the lips over a bit to the left :3

The face needs more dramatic shadows to make the eyes pop even more and more adjustments to lip position and colour refinement in the eyes and then I can move onto the eyes and the clothing and neck area :3👍
