Pelvis and Ribcage?

Where would the pelvis and Ribcage go here? Instead of drawing the body with just boxes someone recommended I draw the ribcage and pelvis as guides to give my art more fluidity

I understand that the pelvis is where your hips are at (iirc) and your ribcage is your chest, but every time I draw it I make it too big leaving no space for the deltoids / making them look wonky

If your problem is drawing the ribcage too big then just don't draw it that big

As an add on I always liked to add the other important landmark of the body to get a grasp of the proportions
