I can try to do a rough sketch on my sketch when I get time and I’ll post it here

So for the tank top, depending on the length of the cloth you'll find folds. Supposing the tank top is an exact length you'll find no creases, except right under the breast depending on how it's being worn. The breasts breasts are functionally water balloons and as such are affected by gravity. If they're larger gravity will tug the front of it downwards whereas the 'back' of it is attached to the chest itself so the cloth might snag there. In the case that the tank top is not covering the mid riff entirely or is longer than the body but not extending to its full length, you'll find creases there because the cloth has to occupy a length lesser than itself

As for the crop top, the arms will be relatively crease free looking at the size you want the sleeves to be. You'll find creases at any points where the crop top meets a bend i.e., the elbows. Also depending on the tightness the area under the arms will also crease up.

Unfortunately I can't give you a drawn example so I apologize for that. I hope that the written explanation was in some way helpful

Cheers

It’s alright . But if you have time w drawn example would be appreciated . But no worries 😉 I’m a visual learner so …yeh. But I think I can also try to work out with what you said . I can’t try to do a rough sketch on it when I have time then ask for corrections when I post it later . But thank u

Okay so an artist was showing me this is roughly how I’d draw this with the crop top and the tank top underneath. Does this look about accurate or would I add a couple more details to this ?

Depeding on how tight the fabric is you wouldn't see the back bottom peeking out, otherwise looks great. Depending on your style you might want to tweak. This is very stylized and look cartoony of sorts (no shade, I adore that type of art but... yeah) so

Oh yeah in your reference the body of the crop top has a lottt of extra cloth that needs to go somewhere so it looks like that. So that again changes based on your preference. I personally prefer the first image you'd send but the choice is yours at the end of the day

Ahh okay ye I gotcha . The reason the reason the waist was skinny was because I asked him to draw a tank top under the crop top but thank u for pointing this out
