background advice?

Trees,bush need hard lights

Im not too good at backrounds, but I would suggest either making the backround light and the subject lighter or vice versa to draw attentntion to your subject. right now your eyes could go anywehre since the drawing doesnt really stress anything

Also for the water, perhaps tell her to make it more translusiant rather than just straight up blue. as well as adding a reflection

Oo if she wants to do a forest/bush bg i recommend adding more depth by adding more „layers“ to the bushes

And then if she wanted to do some more dramatic lighting she could add sunlight peeking in through some gaps
