Shading CRITQUE

My main issue is the pants but any critique in general would be great

That bottom one looks much better, but one tiny thing, the dark dark shadows in his right thigh shouldnt be so distinct, they should kinda all merge together the darker it gets (losing its definition / doesn't look like cell shading).

Remember the darker something gets, the less details you can point out.
