You're doing good for starting off with a guide, but as the drawing progresses you're not going to want or need a perfectly symmetrical face

#

So just keep going and draw by feeling

#

And in between you can do practices on holding the pencil correctly for drawing different strokes

#

So that it's easier to put down on paper what feels right

I think try not to worry about perfect in the very beginning of ur illustration which is during sketching and light drafts

#

You'll miss out on ideas like detail and texture which is more important to making a drawing "perfect"

#

What u want is cohesion of the different elements in ur drawing, which will be more obvious later on in the drawing but on initial stages, just draw and let loose

And it's okay to feel frustrated in the beginning. Anything new will be a struggle to keep going! But when things are difficult it means you're challenging yourself and progressing
