I can't draw a body if my life depended on it. Does anyone have any tips?

This is the best I could do, but I can't draw the legs or hands...

Well it depend on the art style , you see in proporsion the torso should fit 2-3 character head inside

this isn't that bad, only the head is perhaps too big. If you want more detailed information here is the standard proportions many artists use (there is also a 7 1/2 head version that is technically more accurate, but most artists prefer this one)

You can find more videos online explaining proportions as well, or other diagrams if that suits you more. You really didn't do that bad!
