Hey! I would love to improve my digital drawing skills. Apart from the usually stuff I've heard about drawing, I've had a different idea.
Does it make sense to repeatidly draw a head from a certain perspective until you draw it perfectly in that certain way, and do it for all angles to learn drawing a head or other complex shapes?
Why would you say this is rather a top or flop approach to improving my drawing. Thanks for reading/helping!

I'd say the most important things to get exceedingly well is: line control, shapes , values/greyscale and perspective/dimension.
Line control: Line control defines your ability to draw lines but also expressing shadows, character etc. Getting it to flow well and nice has a big impact on readability, quality and baseline.
Exercise: Draw straight lines. A line of short ones. A line of long ones. Individual length line inside of a length limit. Drawing different sized circles. Drawing circles within circles. Draw zigzag. Making zigzag following the other/s while changing pressure (making the line thick and thin)
Shapes: Everything can be broken down into shapes and these shapes are then applied to understanding objects.
Exercise: Draw all kinds of cubes in different perspectives. Break down objects/people/whatever into primitive/simple shapes.
Values/Greyscale: Shadow values are more important for the human eye to perceive depth/detail.
Exercise: Take photos or art you enjoy put it in greyscale and study it then try to replicate it without picking any of the color/greyscale values.
Perspective/Dimension: Everything is placed in a 3d space so understanding how to place them and make them look good/proper is a very strong way in making convincing art.
Exercise: Kinda crosses over with shapes - do shapes in different perspectives. Keep it simple and expand very slowly with more details and such.
Hope those are decent guides? I am not really pro material so take it with a grain of salt.
