My understanding of anatomy is decent but actually implementing it makes some things feel warped. I can get irl reference though. Aside from that since I feel blind to the concepts of digital( I just started yesterday) can you guys teach me some concepts or principles I should follow?
I do envision a version of this drawing with a visual depiction of "eyes from above" or a higher perspective. Do you guys have something to suggest for that too?

I think you should go back to studying proportions and anatomy. The head is way too big and face is too wide. The ribcage is way too big as well, his back looks swollen. You might've meant for it to look arched, seeing that the shoulder also goes back, but the front of his torso doesn't follow.
For a cleaner effect don't use airbrushes in digital unless you KNOW what you're doing. It's also hard to tell where the light source is because of confusing shadows.
Overall I think you can do great with more practice.
Digital can mess up a lot of things even if you were pretty good with traditional. Try doing studies digitally and using a harder brush for the lighting then blending it out, paying attention to where hard and soft edges are.
