Hey your work is pretty nice! U seem to already know what to work on though. I'd suggest that u practice drawing using references. You could look at webtoon characters for instance...I think those would match your style

For clothes you'll have to define the folds and creases through more shading so look up videos on how to draw fabric

Lighting and shadows will definitely add more life to your characters

Add more contrast with colors and you're good to go

Ywww! Try rendering the pieces you've shown and then maybe I can tell u exactly where u should work on

As of now it looks lovely but it can definitely have a lot of improvements...good luck!
