I’m really trying to improve my drawing skills, and lately, I’ve been focusing on expanding my ability to portray characters of all different ages. Right now, I’m pretty comfortable drawing people who look like they’re in their late teens or early twenties, but I’m struggling when it comes to drawing people at other stages of life. I’m specifically having a hard time figuring out how to draw babies, young children, tweens, middle-aged adults, and seniors in a way that feels real and authentic.
I know each age group has its own unique characteristics and features, but I’m not sure how to capture them. I want to make sure that babies, for example, look like babies, and not just small adults with big heads.
I’m really desperate for any tips, advice, or resources that could help me learn how to draw people at all these different ages in a way that feels accurate and natural. I’m open to anything that can help me improve.
