a tip to avoid looking like giant hands instead of perspective, it all comes from the arms, they are supposed to look "short" because they come to us, they are coming toward the viewer so they look shorter, try in the mirror you wouldn't see your whole arm from the sides if you reach your hand to the front
It's a normal mistake when you start because you want to show anatomy and the whole body but don't, or you will loose impact and perspective (in that case at least)
