formal hollow
ive been trying for days to try and get the shading and highlights for this drawing to look somewhat decent but no tutorials ive followed or designs ive tried have looked that good. Im somewhat new to digital drawing so a lot of the shading or highlights are really hard for me to do. If anyone has any feedback on how they do this and how i can in this artwork I would really appreciate it.

studying lighting and perfecting it takes a lot of time believe me. i think the best way to get to understand it is to look at your surroundings from time to time and try to manage to understand where and how the light hits. watching tutorials can help too, you seem to understand the basics already, just try to imagine which parts the light would be hitting but also how much light would hit:] im not a professional artist but i hope this helps!
