Which vector program are you using ?

#

Mind posting some of your work ?

#

alot of artists start this way

#

oh that is true vector. Nice. Any examples of your work ? Iam guessing you trace? which is fine. I used to work like that. i would get creative.

#

Hmm for Ipad I would recommend Procreate to draw instead if thats a path you want to learn

#

Yea okay so tracing. Which is fine. Believe it or not there is a market for vector tracing. People pay to have a super huge high resolution file of art. And your stuff is pretty clean. Good stuff.

#

If you dont want to properly learn to draw and want to vector, you can its just trickier. You would have to sorta frankenstien character body parts together to make a new image if that makes sense

#

yea just a min making an example

#

It gets tricky however as you would have to learn to color/shade. because you effectively created something new. And it would require a new paint job

#

yup you got it. Doesnt have to be just limbs. Can be items too, which you get put together to make a background too

#

any other questions ?

#

i mean that depends on what you trace. It would be best to vector each one into different layers so you dont mess anything up. iam unsure if adobe animate has layers.

#

Save stuff on different layers then you have a library of limbs/objects and various other stuff which you can mix and match

#

nice. So now you can go in and organize everything by body part, or w/e you would like. Such as folder 1 has all hair types,Folder two as arm positions, etc etc, which you can then mix and match

#

now for jobs

#

Fivver has alot of those for vector tracers

#

It is a thing, And if you can work in super high resolutions then there is money to be made

#

on fivver ? its called Vector Tracing

#

I just call them that. Vector tracers. I like hanging with a group of them they make high resolution vector wall papers for fun

#

Oh on a side note. You traced pokemon, I recommend you dont sell any Nintendo related tracings. There very well known to sue. If you do sell keep it private.

#

Oh well you can use them as examples for a portfolio i guess. But you could never sell them. They would fine to show off that you are good at it

#

For public stuff its fine. Anime,Video games, But fanart and stuff from other artists would probably get you angry messages from OG artists, unless you changed it so much it no longer looks like the original

#

eh but i guess you could, internet is huge and your not making money off it, worst is you just remove that one image from your portfolio

#

Oh in that case all you do is give credit

#

Post work, and type name of original artist. Then they cant get angry you didnt credit them. But you do have to remove if they ask

#

nah thats like public works. Too many people to name.

#

I only mean for fanart. works from other small time artists

#

no its just me. I have no life. lol This server is also pretty slow for a server with 70K ppl.

#

If you got any other questions just ask away
