This is a a little doodle of mine, I am 13. It didn’t take that much time but I like it, for some reason it looks a bit wired. Can anyone give me feedback and how to improve for the future? Sorry for the grid, I drew in my school notebook. 😅

ok since youre just starting out this is really solid. here are a few things im noticing :

  1. anatomy. if i draw the underlying structure underneath you seem to be missing some key structures. the right side youre missing a bit of the trapezius muscle. the mouth is not aligned. and the top half of the skull is missing.

  2. contour. it seems like youre more focused on lines and the contour of things rather than the form. youd want to focus more on form to make things more believable

  3. sketching. dont jump straight into the final lines. draw all the underlying structure first to help with placement and resolve issues like missing parts of the skull.

  4. resources. marc brunet has a playlist on his playlist that teaches you how to draw for free. it even has hw. drawabox.com is great for fundmentals (alonside marc brunet and proko)
