I've been drawing for about a week both digital and traditional and I have no idea how to start actually creating humanoids. Ive been doing line work and shapes so i feel pretty good at that. Ive attempted to draw a character and its all blocky.

First off, draw for fun. Dont worry too much about technical skills just yet. Second you should practice observing the subject matter and searching for shapes and structure. Not lines. You dont need to worry about being the absolute best. Plus theres no way to actually define what makes someone “the best” everyone draws differently. So among the more advanced people its impossible to classify the best
