I know the shading is very sloppy it’s my first time, how can I improve this-?

I added the highlights

I have a white pencil but every time I use it it scratches the paper idk how to use it XD

Yeah I noticed the thumb nail was crooked and my smart brain decided to use a black out hand as a reference so it was super hard to decipher where goes where
