It’s supposed to be a nighttime scene, but I’m having trouble with the colors and details. Like the rock, which is below what’s supposed to be a mermaid, which is over water. The moonlight is strong, so it’ll illuminate a few things, I believe. And there’s supposed to be a waterfall/steam falling. Haha this… is a sort of failed piece. Can you guys help me save it?

so basically I would add more nature and trees and more light coming from a certain way to pop it out and more vibrant colors for the mermaids tail
and make the water like stand out glowing

Well, so far, this is a half-finished sketch haha. The moon light is coming down from the top left, and the rock is positioned in the middle of a small alcove surrounded by tall rock sides topped with shrubbage. I haven’t decided anything since it’s a bit daunting ;; I kind of messed myself over with this one.
