How can I shade with alcohol markers and is my anatomy good?
Also I kinda rely on reference is there there a good way to draw from imagination?

So what it looks like you’re doing is taking a way darker and completely unrelated color and doing it on top of dont do that. Depending on the color you can find a slightly darker color still related to the color you already put there. Sometimes you can even layer the same color on top once the first color has dried. Super important thing tho, dont use loose leaf paper. Especially graph paper. Ik its tempting to use whatever you have on hand but it really is best to use thicker paper especially marker or Bristol paper. Believe me the paper you use makes a huge difference.
Also be careful with the pens you use because some ink that is water based can smudge into your drawing and even get into the marker and ruin it. You dont need to get anything super expensive. Pigma micron pens do the trick really well. Just be sure to leave the inking for an hour or more then you can use the markers on top. It may be tempting to use ballpoint pens but trust me you dont want to use it. For how youre using it its not what you should go for
