Proportion help?

I can never seem to get the proportions of the face correctly, and my chins always seem to be massive. Am I making the head too big? What am I doing wrong?

Main thing im seeing is that youre not getting placement correct. Eyes are too close to eachother, mouth is too high, nose is too far above the mouth. Definitely use references. It absolutely makes a difference. Pay attention to placement in relation to the different parts
