I’ve worked on this for a few days now, feels like I’ve been looking at it to long to notice any mistakes. With this I’ve been trying to add more color variation and more saturation from the original photo, all criticism welcome!! (Second image was my reference)

I’d say ur darks need to go darker at first look without looking at the refrence the cat looked like just a blob of color also the direction if your strokes can help
