Feels like every piece I do is just missing something and really struggling as soon as color gets involved, any and all help appreciated, not just the color but if anything looks weird lol, thanks ❤️

The anatomy

#

And the clothing

#

It looks plain

#

Do you use any reference??

Add some detailing to the clothes, face, hair, etc. you have the shapes but nothing is defining those shapes

Now

#

Oof

That’s the word plain, I used a reference for the pose and then pushed the right hand forward trying to get a little more but it still just wasn’t clicking for me

Lets analyze rq

#

Firsty the hairr

#

Can u see the difference between urs and the one i did?

The hair on the left gos out way less , falls more normal

#

in your drawing the hair goes straight, what makes it looks plane and look like it has no volume

Also I suggest using more straight lines along the opposite side of curved lines

#

now lets look at the curve in the body

#

The blue line is following the line of the clothes u did

#

The red one is where the middle of the clothing should be

#

Also the clothes

#

Add more folds

#

I didnt do lots in the drawing i did

#

But thats also rlly important

An important note to make is to make sure you separate the materials so the skin hair and clothes all aren’t flat
