Try to focus on the basic shapes first and then go into the details. That way you can improve your speed on doing the basic outline/ sketch and work on the second part more thoroughly. After all the end result is most important, right?

Make less mistakes and have a mindful brush stroke I think, its not about drawing faster but precise, take your time to think before making the next brush stroke

I’d first do simple short sketches with the focus on human/ anime style anatomy and appropriate proportions to jump start your results

One of the fastest ways to go fast is make more precise strokes, and also try doing it on a time limit like 10 minutes then less and less ,
