not the fondest of colors and never will be but damn i just cant get this right 😭 the shoe patterns are low key barely visible and blend in madly with the pants cuz they fade into the same saturation but itd hurt me to change them
id like to keep the darker palette and all since its supposed to be a vampire ish oc but it seems kinda hard

ik you said you don't want to change the shoes but have you tried doing the gradient white from the knee down instead? idk if it'd work but you could give it a go
maybe add a tiny bit more contrast to the outfit with a bit of (lighter) grey on the bow?
the details on the torso are lost until i zoom in

i know you want to keep the colours dark, but just experiment with some much lighter grey (close to white) because the human eye loves contrast
you can always scrap it of you don't like it
oohhhh or maybe add some silver in the outfit? it will give extreme light & dark at the same time and add some visual interest
it would be helpful to do all of this without zooming in so you can see the difference clearly
or if you wanted, you could add a tint to the blacks and greys

i dont wanna add silver cuz id like to keep the more armor looking parts like the belt completely black even if want it to be dark overall (which destroys the idea of creating contrast...)
i might stick with this even tho it theoretically sucks cuz i like the design besides the colors ☹️
