I can see there is supposed to be. Strong light but that light didn’t hit the character at all at highlights to the charcter

And strong highlights mean stronger shadows

Yours is wayyyy too blurry. The lighting is also muddy-ing the drawing and blocks the character.

Notice jow in the photos there is a slight difference in tones and shapes depending on how murky the water is. Your water is trying to be clear but also murkey at the same time by how its interacting with the body

The way the waves are forming around the arms arent natural either
