Hi! It's Macchi again, Art Club’s designated reporter! I’m here to share a super not-so-secret…secret.

That’s right, I’m here to talk about Underground, Art Club's virtual creative conference! Underground is a month-long creative campaign that happens each June with loads of creative challenges, awesome prizes, and four conference days worth of things to remember!

This year, we’ve gathered 40 talented speakers, who you’ll see featured in workshops, interviews, discussions, and more! These creatives have a diversity of topics planned across many different creative disciplines, which means that there’s a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy. The best part is Underground is totally free to attend!

So how do you register? I’ll tell you!

When I create, I make sure I am feeling good about it. Art should feel fun and experimental, like a child drawing. Doodling is good! I like to think modularly and build on what I have already learned, rather than tackling so much at one time.

AC UNDERGROUND HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

That's right folks! I, Macchi, am back again to let you all know that it's now June, which means that AC Underground is officially here! You know what that means? The Underground has officially opened in our server!

Be sure to check out #2022-acug-information to see all of the wonderful speakers and sponsors who helped make this event possible, along with all the other details regarding Underground events, activities, opportunities, and merch.

And yes, you did hear that right. I said sponsors! We have three amazing sponsors so far who have helped make this conference possible. Summer has arrived and it's time to partake in the festivities. During the month of July, we'll celebrate with fireworks, starry skies, and stories about heroes and legends. The theme for this month is among the stars!

Many constellations were created after famous myths and legends. Draw those characters with their constellation or make your own hero to live among the stars. We are looking for both the character creation AND a constellation to represent them!

❗️ General PSA
There have been several DM hacks floating around Discord lately. The most common one makes the user send out a bait message, followed by a Discord invite. The bait message will say that you have done something, and that you need to join the server in order to see it. If you do join the server, pressing any buttons in the server you are invited to, or scanning any server or DM QR codes, could get your account hacked.

Do not scan QR codes while already logged into the client or click on links from anyone, not even your friends, as they very well could get hacked. Get some more confirmation before you click on anything! Stay safe out there!
