#Social Login is broken
3 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
This error usually happens if you created your account using a social login (like Google, GitHub, or Apple) and some information was changed. In this case, your account doesn't have a password set up by default.
Certain operations require a password, including but not limited to:
Viewing your global API key
Accepting an invitation to an account that requires 2FA
Changing your account's email address
How to Set a Password
To resolve this, you'll need to create a password for your account.
Go to the Forgot Password page on the Cloudflare dashboard.
Enter your account's email address (the one associated with your social login).
Follow the instructions in the email you receive to set a new password.
Important: Once you set a password using this method, you will no longer be able to sign in using your social login provider. You will need to use your email and this new password to log in moving forward.
Let us know if that solves the problem. Thanks!
