Guild Archived Incident: The Void Spreads

at daybreak, ulk14 awaited the arrival of her second of command, Yang. The raid party consisted of ulk14, Luna, Blackthifer, and stepla, their fifth member being their wind knight Yang. They waited by the Unit X research facility, awaiting for his arrival. But he never arrived.

"What's taking him so long? Didn't one of you guys tell him about the dungeon raid?" ulk14 asked Luna, her second right hand commander.

"Don't look at me, I told him quite a few times. Maybe he had his private messages turned off." Luna shrugged, her kimono moving smoothly.

ulk14 sighed, they needed to get more gold items to improve on their gear, the RNG in this team was horrendous, so they needed their DPS to clear it faster. ulk14 quickly took into thought, Yangs never late...usually he's too busy jumping around on rooftops...I have a bad feeling about this... she had the rising suspicion of what could be happening.

"stepla." She said with a commanding voice.

"Y-Yes?!?" stepla shrieked, jumping a bit.

"Go back to the guild, take Sidhe with you. She has her map mostly open, Sidhe will be your guidance around Asteria Plains." ulk14 told stepla.

stepla nodded, obliging to do what her guild leader said. While she ran off, Luna and Blackthifer looked back at ulk14, their eyes looked a bit confused on why they would send a level 51 and level 52 adventurer to search for a level 60 adventurer.

Almost like ulk14 was reading their minds, she then responds, "Sidhe likes to roam around the plains, she knows the plans as much as me and yang. She's resonated with most of the teleport zones that we've already done. As for stepla, she's just bringing him back and acting as backup in case Sidhe gets into trouble.". Despite her confidence, ulk14 was secretly worried about the safety of their guild members and wherever Yang went.

Sidhe and stepla rode upon their mounts back, a gray ranger rabbit and a loyal pickup pup. Sidhe had been in the guild accounting for their guild members last known locations. Yang had checked in at the Ruins of Andra City before going dark.

"Are you sure it's this way Sidhe?" stepla asked.

"I'm sure he's here, this is his last known location." Sidhe said confidently.

Both got off their mounts as they stayed nearby, they started to walk towards the ruins on high alert. Sidhe didn't seem too confident in her abilites but with an oracle beside her, she didn't seem to waver in her confidence. They continued to walk as miraculously they never encountered a shadow scout or a shadow blade.

"It's too quiet here." Sidhe mutters slowing down as they notice a torch off in the distance. The torch was barley lit, but beside it was a journal. They rushed over towards it as they stood at the edge of the cliff, at the bottom was a pathway and a couple of shadow blades at the bottom. Their bodies were unresposive but that was the least of their worries, Sidhe began flipping through the book.

"Who does it belong to?" stepla asks.

"It's Yangs...It's his personal journal from the looks of it." Sidhe confirms to stepla.

"Then where is he?" stepla looks around.

While they looked around, Sidhe looked down at the cliff, down at the bodies and then the feint light at the cave. No one's been down there except a few people. "stepla, I have a dumb idea..." she says as she hops down.

"Sidhe wait!" stepla hops down as well.

both land on their feet as they walk into the cave, ominously dimly lit with bodies of shadow blades littering the ground. Then the look up front, there stood Yang, however something was off, then they see it...The void-like aura emitting around him...
