Hey everyone 👋

I’ve built an in-game companion app for Star Resonance!

There’s a short video attached below showing the app in action!

You might already know my interactive maps from starresonance.th.gl — this app brings all that functionality into the game, with:

🧭 Features

  • Real-time player tracking — your position updates live on the map
  • Minimap overlay & transparent mode
  • 2nd screen support — use your phone or tablet as a minimap
  • Live tracking of resources, monsters, NPCs, and documents
  • Chests & documents only visible when active (perfect for 100% achievements)
  • Custom nodes, drawings, and route planning
  • Collaboration tools — shared filters, whiteboard, and peer link (see your teammates!)
  • Hotkey support for quick toggles
  • All major regionsAsteria Plains, Asterleeds, and more

👉 Download here: th.gl/companion-app

I’ve confirmed with the Star Resonance team — they said it’s fine to share and use, though they won’t officially “approve” it to avoid opening doors for PvP-related tools.

⚠️ The app and website are supported by ads, which you can remove via a subscription.

Hope this helps you explore more efficiently and track down those last missing collectibles!
Would love your feedback and suggestions 💫

Incredible work, I enjoy the convenience that this app brings especially in more dense areas and this game seems overcrowded with chests and it's difficult to keep mental notes.
I have a slight question in regard to live-mode. From what I understand, it scans the surroundings for objects, is there an option to view or adjust the scope of this area?
If I turn off live-mode, it shows all objects regardless of if i picked it up or not. I currently have to switch back and forth while exploring

The live mode shows what's loaded by the game. The app has no control of it.
This depends on your in-game settings and the server configuration. Usually, games like BPSR are showing static actors (which are not moving) from farther away. Moving actors (like monsters) are only visible if they close by.

If you disable the live mode, you see the possible spawn locations (similar to the website). There is a hotkey to switch between both modes.

ah that's totally logical. Thanks for clarifying that Airona_pat_pat

Also something I've noticed is that the companion app completely disables the Shift button for sprinting. Is there an option to disable that? Might have been mapped to a hotkey nvm, restart worked
