How do people manage to level it up so fast?

It's a popular one to use Focus on as well since the ores sell for significant Luno or can be crafted into important items.

Capped mine already. Mineralogy is EASY to CAP

Just focus mine daily for a week and do the quests. Join a guild and get the season pass for like 1600 extra focus. In bout a week or so it’ll be capped

Is it worth unlocking all the focuses for mineralogy? Does it help that much with gaining ores for smelting?

The yield masteries are worthwhile. You probably don't need the speed upgrades if you aren't using it off-focus.

pro tip, buy all the semi-rare ores instead of grinding for them, i spent 3 hours mining azte to get 17 lustrous copper, while they sell for almost as much as normal copper, which is 10x easier to get.
