Hi guys, so I got my got old iPod mini 2 out of my drawer and I'm trying to restore it. I have an old Windows XP machine with iTunes 12.1.3.6 and when I connect my iPod I see the drive with all of my stuff inside but iTunes doesn't see it.
I also tried on my Windows 11 machine and on my Mac.
On my Mac it finally recognized the iPod but it says it can't located the selected device…
I don't know what to do next. This iPod is poorly flashmodded with an incompatible Kingston CF card that sometimes likes to corrupt. But I don't think this should stop me from seeing the iPod on iTunes. I can use the iPod so the CF is working. Using Disk Mode also doesn't show on iTunes.

probably because the different os ur running it on , i heard that the previously windows managed ipods cannot be wieved with mac os

When I connect it on Windows 11 it flashes the iPod icon very quickly. So iTunes is recognizing it, it's just not allowing me to select it
