#What are these grey pieces from iPod Classic 5?

I was doing some repairs on my iPod Classic 5 (i.e. replacing battery and fixing center button) and I hadn’t noticed that these two grey pieces fell out of the iPod until I had put everything back together. Does anyone know what their function is and whether it is important to place them back inside? Thanks!

Do you need to reuse them? No not really if you flash mod, but I do just cuz I can
