Hey folks!! I just mentioned my issue in ipod-chat but I figured I'd make a thread here anyways as to not clutter things.
I've been gradually repairing an ipod 5.5 over the past month, it was working solid for a few weeks with the bluetooth mod that replaces the hold-switch. Then something in the headphone jack got wonky, no left signal. Eventually the battery conked out after trying to repair that myself.
I decided to splurge on the Moonlit Market Classic Connect 2, because usb-c is neat and less janky bluetooth is very welcome.
When I connected it up, I also had an iflash quad in place. To my dismay it didn't close, and it kept reading "Very low battery even after charging for a few hours." I havn't been comfortable leaving it plugged in while I'm asleep or in class because it's making this faint beep when I plug it in.

Today, I finally got the SD card adapter that fits and allows the pod to be closed up, but now the display won't turn on at all 😭. Theres charge in the battery, the bluetooth light keeps blinking, but nothing on the display.
I'm very confused and frustrated, I'm thinking of just replacing the whole logic board & screen, but I wanted to consult some more informed people before dropping more money on this.
I should also say I don't have a firewire cable to try and jumpstart anything. I am interested in one, but the price for a charger feels wild to me.
