My ipod is all of a sudden having a lot of static when listening with earbuds and in car.

No static when music is paused

Fixes for a bit when you power it fully off

Is the ipod connected to the power in the car?
Does it change that the engine is turned on or off? If it is - What car is it (engine type might be important if older than 20 years)?

I changed from car to normal issue because it happens with esrbuds too

Yeah.

Power it all the way off and on and it started working for a bit then back to static

Powered off and on again and it was working. Don't know perms fix or I just want using it long enough

Yeah happens on most

Just tested it and it started happening after about 3 minutes
