i just got this ipod from my coworker to fix it for him. the issue supposedly is that the songs don't play. the clickwheel functions but when he presses play it just stays stuck at 0. also looks to have an expanded battery but I can't tell if that's it or not -- is this safe to plug in?
also this ipod has been dropped before
I have an 80gb HDD, that's the only other ipod HDD i own. I know it won't fit in the thin back but will it work hardware wise? like could i plug it in and test if that fixes it? I suspect it's the HDD but i've heard it could be other issues too so i'd love some input
