oof yea that's a little pricey
yeah ๐ฆ they a bit rare so I didn't really know where to get them. This one is in good shape tho just the battery swelling
nah in canada we use Facebook marketplace but even then most of them range 180-200CAD so this was pretty cheap
ohhh ok ok
also sorry one last question thank you for being so helpful this entire time
no worries
is it still ok for me to use the ipod if the battery is slightly bloated? im planning to get it repaired within the next 2-3 weeks but I'm hearing stuff about ipod explodings ๐ฆ
oh lol i just heard lithium batteries could explode but it could be people making it a bigger deal then it need to be
ah ok ok that makes me feel better
thank you for being helpful! I'm flying to hong kong soon so i might try to get it repaired there for cheap but if not ill just buy the kit and fix it back home
No worries
Hong Kong is close to a big iPod parts manufacturer in China too
So you're lucky I'd say
do you by chance know how much it would be to get it repaired in hongkong and/or china?
I unfortunately do not
ah all good ๐
I would recommend checking Taobao while you're there however
They sell pretty cheap parts as compared to AliExpress
ahhh ok ok I will give it a shot
You can see that most of the time they have the same sellers
Do note that you'd have to be able to read Mandarin Chinese
im cooked...
There's Taobao in English too don't worry
oh blessed
But for some reason, some products may not be available ro be purchased
I have no clue why
ah i think im gonna test my luck with the irl stores and worst comes to worst i will go to taobao
