So I wanted to install rock box, and it stayed in usb mode and i don’t know what I did but it split the Disk into 2 and in the process accidentally deleted the original iPod files and only the rock box file is appearing, iTunes doesn’t recognize the iPod anymore, and I’m stressing because my girlfriend gave it to me as a gift

force power it off and put it into disk mode

and try itunes restore again

right when the screen turns black let go and press center and play as soon as you let go

you cannot hold the center button down

#

you have to let go and press again

When I disconnect the cable it panics

when screen turns black let go, but immediately hold down center and play
